Gingham made quite a mark this Summer and with how things are going, it's pretty obv that we'll be seeing more of it in the coming months-- and I don't see why not. With it's bold and edgier pattern, it gives your wardrobe a fresh update, making it a great alternative to Summer's mainstays; the florals and the nautical stripes.

this basic v-neck white shirt has got to be the most abused piece of clothing in my closet these days. this, and two other shirts in the exact same size, color and material. ask me how to wear a basic white in 5 different ways and i'll show you 10. Ha! its surprisingly funny to realize that i have 1 specific favorite look for each pregnant month and for my 6th month up to my early 7th, this basic white, uber comfortable leggings and lucite sandals are my preferred go-to pieces. so if some of you cebuano friends see me around town wearing the same outfit, please dont think i haven't showered cos trust me, i have and i always do. HAHA!

have a wonderful and safe week ahead, you guys!

High-Low Blue

June 29, 2012

ever since the high-low dress became popular, i have always wanted to get my hands on a few good pieces only to find out  that most of them cinch at the waist which totally disappoints since being pregnant means coke-in-can form waistline. but because i'm persistent like that, i tried on a few pieces only to disappoint myself some more. i looked like a suman with a bulging center cos of too much rolling or squeezing or trying. i looked hideous and humongous and it was just unbearable.
so you can just imagine my delight when i saw this empire-cut high-low piece at a very good price and in one of my most favorite material evah. i wanted to do cartwheels right then and there. haha! i love how i can dress this up in so many ways and how i can still wear this even after i pop. definitely a very good buy, if you ask me. and like the denim jacket that i wore HERE, expect to see more of this dress here on the blog :D

oh and, this is what i wore too to Style Origins at Ayala Center Cebu last June 15.

Leopard and Stripes

June 25, 2012

i spent the last couple of weeks going to each and every baby store in the metro and compare all the baby essentials on my list. there are tons of beautiful and cutesy items to choose from that i always end up adding more on my long tally of baby must-haves. im sure this is worrying the husband already but i cannot wait to buy them all for our little kicker!

so here's what i wore while window shopping last wednesday:

Broke But Not Broken

May 13, 2009

Highlights of my day:
• Went to the bank today to pay for my orders. Oh drat. I'm starting again. I really should be saving cos there's this bag that I looove so much but can't afford to buy for now. Ugh. Talk about spending more than my weekly allowance allows me to.

• Dropped by the grocery store to buy toiletries. Was running of out shower essentials.

• Spent the rest of the day having my pictures taken for this particular blog. Oh sweet joy!

So now, after storing away all my essentials, I realized that I'm super broke from all of this week's (and last week's) buying spree. So broke that I had to borrow from my brother to buy chips. Oh dear.

Was gonna buy a new phone but I ended up spending all my moolah for other things.
I sooo wanna throw a fit right now!
