FUN. Crazy but clean fun is what best describes my Sunday night.
I may have missed the Sinulog Grand Mardi Gras but having spent the night with my girlfriends from highschool made it all worth it!
We haven't seen each other for the longest time and Sol's short leave from work was the best answer to that.
We started off by getting our fill of sumptuous thai cuisine at Krua Thai.
Mouth-watering dishes topped with good conversation makes for a heart-warming, fun and truly unforgettable dining experience.
Aaahh.. good food, good friends, GOOD TIMES!
Then off we went to K1 Karaoke Bar to burn all the calories and sang (and danced!) the night away!

So after what seemed like forever, we all decided to head home. Gail and Ken to their respective houses while I went home with the rest of my friends in tow!
Wootwhow! I loooove sleepovers! Its been years since I hosted one.
We talked about anything and everything under the sun.
And the fave topic?! BOYS of course! haha! Oh well, that's no new surprise, right?

Catching up with old friends is like being transported back in time.
Back to the days when all you ever cared about is beating your opponents in the jack stone game, the chinese garter or takyan (Sipa in tagalog).
Old friends make me feel young again, like 10 years younger ;)

Oh how I'd love for them to stay at my place for the next 2 or 3 days but we all had work to do.
We'll surely do this again and the next time, with even more friends.
Hmm.. I think we should do this a monthly thing from now on. hehe!

They stayed until 5 in the afternoon the next day making our little reunion a 24-hour affair.. well, almost ;)

5 days late this post is. hehe. Been quite busy with mothering stuff :)
My little girl's getting quite picky with whoever takes her out for an afternoon stroll so mommy-me has to manage the situation. Good thing she and the new yaya are getting along just fine, now I have ample time to map out my plans for this year. *excited*

I love that the fashion gods (*Pantone, in this instance) has named Turquoise the TOP color for this year!! That will give me plenty of reason to use and overuse this 80Php blazer (roughly $2) I got while bargain shopping with my mom. Neat, eh? hehe! I was so thrilled to see this on sale and at 80% off at that! Boy, was I happy! This newly opened mall here in our little island gives me whiplash every time they clear their racks to make room for new stocks. I always feel the need to visit them once a week so I won't miss out on a lot of nice bargains. hehe!
So while this blazer is a new buy, my polka dress is not. She's been sitting sooo silently in my closet for over a year now that I almost forgot she even existed. hehe. So in this particular blog post she'll make her debut and I'm pretty sure that this ins't gonna be her last appearance. I love that it's tiered and the fact that it's polka dots!
Anyone else here who likes dots? :)
