Embassy No More

My girlfriends and I were supposed to go to this rockin' Embassy party at the CICC right after we hit the movie house but the weather's just awful! And I mean AWFUL! I can't stand the thought of running across the parking lot under a blanket of endless rain and in our platforms just to get to the venue. Even if I wear the thickest kind of jacket I have in my closet, I'd still die of hypothermia! Yeah, talk about all skin and bones.. Ugh. I never thought I'd hate the rain so much til now :s

So to distract myself of this disappointment, I went on to cleaning my EHD of any file excess cos am seriously running out of disk space. While doing so, I came across these pics.. I completely forgot to post this particular outfit after I subjected them to some minor editing. A sign of old age? or perhaps, a super cluttered mind? hehe! The skirt is total looove! It's thrifted and it's my cheapest find, to date!
I flew up the roof and back when the sleepy SA told me that it's priced at 50Php ($1) only! Yaaay! Isn't that amazing?!
I went on and bought a few more items from the 50Php-($1)-rack. I will blog about them real soon ;)I just adore this gifted cameo set from my parents and my mom's vintage beaded purse.. just some of the few treasures in my treasure box. hihi! :)

I hate having to cop out on my girlfriends but what other choice do I have?
I plan on asking them out again for another shindig hopefully before the Sinulog festival ends. Weee! I can't wait! ;)

Have a wonderful rainy evening lovelies!
