Time flies so fast, we couldn't believe our little girl is now 3.
I still remember how little she was when I first carried her in my arms a few hours after delivery. How cute she looked when she first yawned, when she first smiled, when she first let out a teeny weeny giggle. Has it really been 3 years?
Photographs give you the luxury of going back to the past by holding the present moment still. It allows you to re-live and savour life's precious moments in little squares, in any given time, at any given place. It's pretty crazy too, how prints evoke so much emotion, bring up a lot of the past, making you feel like you've made it so far in life in just so little time. It gets you pretty emotional too, just like how this blog post is starting to sound. It's weird- but the good kind.
So when Vania turned 3, we couldn't let the opportunity pass without having someone to capture snippets of her little party into little forevers- in stills. colourful, beautiful stills.
Joseph and Love of Joseph Requerme Photography gave us so much more than party pictures, they gave us a piece of Vania's childhood in beautiful photos- print, after print, after print. These and so much more that I cried a little a when I saw the whole loot. Oh, look, a tear! hahaha.
It was a small party, mostly DIY-ed decorations and a whole lot of home cooking but it gave us the happies that I'd want to go through that phase in time over and over again. Thank you Joe and Love for giving us the opportunity to re-live Vania's 3rd birthday party in colourful, beautiful prints.
