OUTFIT: SammyDress Scoopneck Georgette Dress

Shift dresses are tricky especially for someone who has a petite or lanky frame. one dress could either be too big on the shoulders, too short or too long or just plainly big in all aspect. luckily for me, this beautiful georgette shift dress that SammyDress sent over is just the perfect fit- from the shoulder, to the sleeves' length, it's width at the waist and down to the total length of the dress itself. no need to visit my seamstress for alterations, something that has become quite a habit for me when buying dresses.

i love georgette garments so this one became an instant favorite! it drops beautifully mid-thigh which for me is the perfect length unless of course some of you prefer to show a wee bit of your underwear even by just taking a step ;) with a shift dress as versatile as this, you can wear it in more ways than one. as for me, i like keeping all the attention to its busy print so i opted for less accesories and wore it with a belt just to break the silhouette and paired it with a pair of pointed-toe buckle shoes. should you wish to dress it up though to boho chic perfection, you can pile on accesories, wear a hat, add a little fringe bag and pair it with stappy sandals and you'll be music festival ready! but if you prefer a more daintier approach, all you need is a pretty pair of rafia wedge sandals and a clutch! oh the possibilities! like i said, you can wear this Scoopneck Georgette Dress in more ways than one ;)
