The party scene in Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu is back with a splash for the summer of 2016. Taking the world-class nightlife outdoors, the hotel’s Ibiza Beach Club is known as Cebu’s most hip and happening venue for lifestyle dining and high-energy entertainment, featuring both local talents and international DJs. On 5 March 2016, Saturday, this premier social establishment hosted the Electro Beach Festival, an electronic dance music event that gathered more than 1,000 party-philes from 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Guests came in their resort wear and were treated to an epic dance and music experience amid the venue’s lush and refreshing surroundings.
Top-billed by renowned DJ, Daiki Wakabayashi, the back-to-back sets showcased high octane beats by other DJs on deck, such as Tora, OGaMixxX, Shibuchin, Kamiyama Seigo, Toshiki, Red Bully and Hiroro. The Ibiza show team also staged some of their daring fire exhibitions that thrilled the crowd and added excitement to the evening, which ended with a colourful fireworks display.
“Ibiza Beach Club, as a premier nightspot in this side of the country, offers travellers a unique dining and entertainment experience,” shared Jeryl Tio, the hotel’s Food and Beverages manager. “Also, as it is named after the party capital of the world, we want Ibiza Beach Club to be a trailblazer on trends, performance genres and flavours, by bringing in new excitement in various seasons, to delight our guests of different nationalities.”

This event brought the attention again to Mactan island as a party and leisure destination in Cebu.”
