Perfumed Red Shoes x Swanky Cyn x Cao Bella Pointed Toe Shoe Collaboration

i specifically reserved my first outfit post for 2014 slot for a blog collaboration with two beautiful Hawaii-based bloggers, Swanky of Swanky Cyn and Jenny of Cao Bella. When Swanky emailed me asking if I am open for a blog collab and the object of interest would be shoes, i was thrilled! its my first time to do this and what got me even more excited is, of course, their chosen shoes for the said post.
Pointed Toe heels are easy to work around with as it can take you from day to night, formal to casual, office wear to party wear-- a statement shoe that every girl should have in her closet.

When the pointed toe shoes made a comeback last year, i happily boxed all my chunky platforms and platform wedges to make space for them in my shoe cabinet. They're classy, versatile and adds a wee bit of height to the wearer. You may opt for the classic pumps like what Jenny is wearing or ankle straps like mine or the more edgier bootie version and expect instant glam to your overall look. And need I tell you that it reminds me so much of Sex and the City days? It is perfection in more ways than one!
And if you think that pointed toe shoes are uncomfortable, they're absolutely not. choose the right size and your preferred heel height (kitten heels, medium heels or flat heel) and you're sure to pull it off just as easily as wearing an almond toe pair.

to quote a famous fashion creative director, "a pointed-toe shoe is unquestionably a sign of good taste, and that makes a woman feel empowered."
