A few weeks from now, I will have to kiss my ankle breakers goodbye and box them well again in lieu of a pair of rubber sneaks. After what seemed like forever, I finally decided to pursue my course and take on life in strides. This may sound really easy and normal to some but for someone like me who has not read a medical book in 3 years, this is like mental suicide. I now shudder at the thought of bringing out my 4 or even 5-inch-thick books. I spazz out thinking about wearing all-white 5 days a week. I convulse intermittently thinking that I CANNOT wear nail polish to work. And I die seeing my babies all boxed up
and making friends with dust and mildew in the corner of my room. Sure, I can still wear them on weekends or on days off but still.. rubber sneaks on most days? hmm. OKAY.

Those are a lot of stuff to be missed. But still rubber sneakers are...um...ok?:) Good luck on the job.
