remember when i said that i have a couple of back log posts? well, this is one of them.
my birthday lunch outfit. (see my birthday dinner outfit here) another no-brainer outfit, really. when you're still 3 months postpartum and a nursing mom at that, you try and hide all those post-baby flabs with billowy tops and slimming bottoms. this high-low top from SM Surplus does exactly just that, hide all my flabs. and because i find this little piece of sheer wonder a likable weapon of choice on days when you feel the flabbiest, (trust me, new moms have that feeling) i bought it in three different colors. oh you know. just like what they say with shoes; if it fits, buy it in all colors!

on a different note, i apologize for announcing my MsDressy Giveaway so late. a week late, to be exact. working on papers for a newly acquired property and with a baby that is as clingy as a tarsier, i find it difficult to multitask. so without further ado, the winner of my giveaway, drawn via random.org, is Kat! expect an email with your $80 voucher code from me tonight!

grocery shopping with a baby in tow couldn't be more comfortable in this geometric print dress i scored while thrift shopping at the most inconspicuous store in the city. aside from the fact that it comes in one of my favorite material which is linen, the button-down front is also a favorite feature. for a nursing mom like me, nothing is more discreet and functional than a six-button wonder dress. to top it all off, this huge tote which also doubles as a diaper bag is the very epitome of function and style rolled into one.
