been slacking big time and i feel bad about not updating you guys regarding my MsDressy giveaway. i've been pretty busy with mommy duties lately that i only get to blog hop when the little girl's asleep or when i'm on the go to do bank errands and such. but i'm not complaining. my Vania bear's giggles and endless surprises of her advance developmental milestones are worth every single second reading to her or taking her out for a short stroll. she has the most inquisitive eyes and it's such a delight to see her get excited over the littlest of things. who wouldn't be busy trying to explain to this very curious baby the world when all she does is look at one object intently after studying another? but because i feel awfully sorry about not posting my entries on time, i plan on publishing 2 or 3 blog posts in one day every week. that way i wouldn't have too many backlog posts. yes?

its a few days before the big Sinulog festival but the weather's been pretty bipolar lately. surely, an overcast is what most people would want on the very day of the grand street parade. i would too, only if it isn't coupled with rain and heavy winds. you see, when you're not feeling your best self and currently nursing an annoying flu, going out in this crazy weather makes you want to rethink your plan of braving the throng of people wanting to take part in another epic Sinulog weekend. but since missing out on all the Sinulog festival merriment means committing a grave crime in the world of fun, i am subjecting myself to house arrest until this bothersome flu decides to leave me alone. so until Saturday, i am stuffing myself crazy with vitamin C-loaded fruits and drink. but for that short trip to the grocery store earlier to get me my remedies, i decided to wear this maxi skirt thinking it would give me the right amount of warmth to keep me from freezing only to realize later that i paired it with this flimsy sheer top. the flu clouding my intellectual acuity, yes?
