A couple of days ago, my brother was in a frantic to practice driving since his gift arrived earlier than expected. Oh. On second thought, it already arrived even before he mustered the guts to go behind the wheel. So without further delay, we drove to the nearest abandoned subdivision and I taught him the basics. And because I learned how to drive a manual transmission car first, we made that our top priority and the AT SUV, last.
I make for a very bad driving instructor, i tell you. Not because I suck at driving but because I expect perfection on the very first day. HAHA! Why shouldn't that be the case when my driving skill is self-taught? and at the age of 14 at that? CHOS! haha! I had my dad tell me the basics, observed him carefully while he's driving and on the first day of my driving lesson, I sped away like those in a NASCAR race giving my dad the biggest scare of his life. LOL.
Seriously though, our first day went well despite the fact that my brother is the noob-est of all noobs. HAHA! we are now on our 5th day and hopefully he'll get everything right after 2 or 3 more sessions.
