I've always loved anything peplum, be it skirts, dresses or tops. pre-blogging days, and that would be before the year 2009, i've owned a couple of peplum skirts that has so much flounce it made me feel like a school girl always wanting to twirl around. fast forward to blogging days, i've posted about two floral peplum dresses that i've worn separately (and coincidentally) to two different weddings. first to a cousin's wedding from 2010 which you can check out here, and to a close friend's just last january (see here). now you know what my favorite go-to dresses are for weddings. oh and of course, the overall theme. floral peplums and pearls. how original is that? haha!
so for this year, my heart is all out for peplum tops for a change. oh and isn't Instagram the next best thing yet? I bought this, and two more in black and white, from my favorite instagram seller. i love how it isn't cheaply made but is sold at a very reasonable price! it's made of thick stretch material, im not sure if its jersey or thick stretch cotton or even blend but all i know is that it hugs me in all the right places. and just how cute is that bow at the back? so girly without going overboard, right? i adore this top so much that im now thinking of doing a How-To-Wear post just so i can wear this more often!
