Kicking off my 2016 with a Rose Quartz outfit post- which I'm sure you know by now is one half of Pantone's color of the year this year. Rose Quartz, a warm embracing rose tone is a gentle shade that conveys compassion and a sense of composure. I love how this subtle hue makes for an easy wear for any skin color; it looks good on a fair-skinned gal as it is flattering on a girl with a slightly darker complexion.
For this particular look, I decided to go for light, blush tones to show off my tan (or what's left of it) and snakeskin accent for my accessories (quite possible the only kind of snake I can tolerate, literally and figuratively.) Light and fresh color scheme that's easy on the eyes to somehow downplay December's crazy dry spell last year. And yes, this is yet again, another backlog post. It's just the second week of January and here I am struggling with my New Year's resolutions. I really should start working on keeping them, or just stop making them altogether. Sheeesh.
