DFA Madness

Yesterday, my siblings and I were literally baking in a cramped office that was the DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs). Its sad how most government agencies aren't given that much attention when it comes to facilities, man power and even a decent working space. I mean seriously, can they not transfer to some building with ample parking space and spacious working area? And can the government not build one enormous building for all its subsidiary departments just so the people wouldn't have to transfer from one place to another? Oh and please don't get me started with the turtle-pace system of some agencies! *rolls eyeballs*
We only needed to renew our passports but the DFA required (STILL!) an original NSO (National Statistics Office) birth certificate copy for my two brothers who are minors. I mean, what's up with that?! It's RENEWAL and not NEW application, people! Geeez! And just so everyone will know, the NSO is a marketplace and it'll take you forever to get your birth copy! Gaaah!

So after what seemed like forever, mom decided to just see our travel agent and leave all the work to them. teehee! The fam then made a beeline to the nearest mall to grab some lunch and buy school supplies for the boys. My sister and I however headed for home right after lunch for a client appointment in the afternoon. Busy thursday, it was :)

Oh and no matter how I adore my new Promise heels, I still brought along my trusty black flats to use for our morning stroll around Colon area. Walking in them in this part of town is just instant suicide.

Thrifted pinstripes L/S polo. Levi's Melissa blue jeans. Gojane heels ordered from Power Retail. Red braided belt from SM. Forever21 black bag. Accessorize ring. Sunnies from Metro.

  6. I hear you, Toni! It´s really a mess. I got and renewed mine in Manila and while the DFA office in there is much bigger and cleaner, the NSO building is jampacked with people.

On a lighter note, you´re looking fab as always and good thinking on the flat shoes. I always wear one when I travel or during long walks.

    Have a nice weekend!
