A Funeral

It's sad how some people associate funeral wakes with drinking sessions;
so-called friends, acquaintances and empathetic neighbors satisfy their craving for alcohol while the family mourn for the loss of a loved one. When it is best to offer a prayer for the dearly departed and show the family love and support during this very difficult time, they instead, prefer to intoxicate themselves, talk about nonsense and even ask the family for more booze.
It is just beyond dreadful.

  2. I agree with you Toni... that's why I don't stay up too late during funerals. I prefer to pay my last respects during the daytime.

    I love your LWD... and with that hat, you look like a very stylish grieving relative. :-)

    PS... that ring is gorgeous! xoxo

  10. Hi Toni!

    You are beyond chic for a Filipino funeral service! As you mentioned, wakes in this part of the world have become somewhat insignificant to the real meaning of the word.

    I wish we can all wear hats though!

    PS Just text those numbers for the bikinis, Toni. I'm sure Ashley or Grace would love to help you out. No online shop yet. Their first orders were just snapped up so they're a little afraid about not being able to handle the orders if they go online at all. They fit so well, I must say!
