Is that even possible?
My dad would always tell me to buy things that are only NECESSARY; things that I'd get to use everyday. Things that wouldn't greatly affect my already depleting bank account.
So I tried, in the most painful way, to heed his advice and stopped shopping.
WHAT on earth?! can we really STOP shopping? haha.
DUH. as if we can live another week without hitting the malls with our BFFs.
But no matter how hard I tried to be a good and obedient daughter, I just couldn't do it!
\
I have sinned, yet again.
I was never good in shopping with moderation when it comes to sunglasses.
They make me wheeze, hyperventilate and drool with utmost lust.
In a span of 3 months, I already have 22 sunnies to crowd my drawer with.
Some of them from known shops, most of them from online shopping and a few from HK during our family trip last year.
Of course, I never bought anything that was already bordering 2K per piece.
That's just too much right now considering that I am still living off of my dad's paycheck. lol.
Sad to say though, I never get to use most of my buys. Out of the 22, only 5 have given me service. So with this, I narrowed down my selection and 8 sunnies were auctioned off.
Anyway, These are my favorites. One was ordered from cutesygirl.com and the other from forever21.com. Identical? They're twins!
Their only difference is the label. But beautiful as they are, both gave me a headache when, after a few days of usage, an annoying crack made its grand appearance on the frame. And since I couldn't find a similar design in shops here in Cebu (that time coz now, Charles&Keith has this design already), I searched high and low for another piece and ended up ordering from Forever21 with a slight difference in price. But luck just wasn't at my side, my first sunnies' fate was also the second's reason for dying. frustrating!
With this heartbreak, and with a MOM who is as sensitive as I am, I found myself enjoying a new one! My ultimate love (for now)
It's sturdy. It's brown. But most of all, it's oversized.
AND I LOVE IT TO DEATH!
Thanks, Mom!
Now, with my dad's words endlessly spinning in my head, "SHOP MODERATELY", I have decided to put my sunnies-shopping on hiatus. I finally found a pair that suits me perfectly, hoping that my "want" for this would last til summer so I wouldn't have to go against my dad's advice.
Shop Moderately!

im also lovin' Charles & Keith's oversized sunnies. and i also limit myself with 2K as a max for a single pair. i absolutely believe that that's already a very reasonable price.
