Here is an OOTD that is 7 months late because my (not so) trusty external hard drive decided to die on me last Christmas. Must've been all the hamonada and wine, right? Haha! But aren't you glad that I finally recovered most of my photos from my (then dead, now resurrected) dying HD? Photos as old as 1 year old finally saw the light of Lightroom and boy, am I thrilled! So please expect a slew of backlog posts in the coming days!
Moving on, I recently found out that it was National Stripes Day the other day and just how timely is this post, right? I mean seriously, this is the universe working, people! The universe, and not my lazy procrastinating arse chugging down gallons of water as of writing because I ate too much Pringles. Oh, the things you do to compensate for all your unhealthy eating habits!
Okay, totally unrelated. Anyway..
Stripes remain a perennial favorite in my closet and while I was actually doing closet purge last week, I could never, ever, let go of my clothes in this timeless print.
Let's just face it, I'm sure most of you even consider stripes as a neutral palette just as I sometimes consider leopard print as neutral. To each his own, right?
Some prints just never go out of fashion and Stripes is definitely one of those things. From Breton stripes to Banker to Pencil to Barcode-- one is sure to find a kind of stripe that fits one's personality and style.
Aside from the obvious botanical and foliage prints that dominate Summer, Stripes has definitely earned his stripe as another Summer favorite. Pun intended.
