on days when i am required to be the foreman and shopper (for construction materials) i wear the comfiest clothes i could find that doesn't spell disaster when i carry paint cans or garden pots.
you see, the last time i went to a hardware store to buy paint rollers, few cans of paint and a dozen of lightbulbs, i wore a sundress cos the temperature that day was a soaring 30degrees. oppresively hot and humid, i opted to wear a dress cos it was more comfortable than a pair of shorts or jeans. or so i thought. cos just as i was about to leave the store carrying 3 bagful of house materials, a dry summer breeze blew my way. it was either i drop my bags that contained breakables or just be thankful for the ONLY wind that day and forget manong guard who timidly looked away. a marilyn monroe moment, yes? excuse the image. haha!
