ever since the high-low dress became popular, i have always wanted to get my hands on a few good pieces only to find out  that most of them cinch at the waist which totally disappoints since being pregnant means coke-in-can form waistline. but because i'm persistent like that, i tried on a few pieces only to disappoint myself some more. i looked like a suman with a bulging center cos of too much rolling or squeezing or trying. i looked hideous and humongous and it was just unbearable.
so you can just imagine my delight when i saw this empire-cut high-low piece at a very good price and in one of my most favorite material evah. i wanted to do cartwheels right then and there. haha! i love how i can dress this up in so many ways and how i can still wear this even after i pop. definitely a very good buy, if you ask me. and like the denim jacket that i wore HERE, expect to see more of this dress here on the blog :D

oh and, this is what i wore too to Style Origins at Ayala Center Cebu last June 15.

aren't we all glad that summer is over?
don't get me wrong, i was born and raised in Mactan Island and i've always loved the beach but when you're 6 months pregnant with a bouncing little girl, you can't help but yearn for cool breezy mornings and cold rainy evenings. the stinking hot weather of the summer months was just too unbearable for me that it made me wish i lived in an igloo up in the freezing Arctic region.

so yesterday i ran errands with the sister and decided to wear (yet again) my current favorite dress paired with this thrifted denim jacket Gizelle of Vanilla Ice Cream picked out for me a couple of months back (thank you, Gizelle!) im just glad this denim baby has already seen the light of day and i couldn't be any happier now that summer's over. expect to see more of this piece here on the blog :D

oh and a big shoutout to Jem of Cupcakes and Choices for her sweetest post! thank you, babe!
