Shopping Ban

i've heard and read a lot of my friends say that they're on self-imposed shopping ban. at first i found it hard to believe that anyone who adores fashion and all things pretty can muster all the guts to say no to a pair of gorgeous platforms, a remarkably beautiful satchel and an even prettier floral dress. why torture yourself when all these covetable goodies are calling out your name? it doesn't make that much sense.

but when the much anticipated 1 day manila trip ensued and we heard from the consul himself of the very very good news, i found myself continually saying; no more shopping this may. i can and will pass up on all the opportunities to buy pretty little knick knacks here just so i can shop in all the right places during our upcoming trip! so yes, there you go. starting today, i am officially on a self-imposed shopping ban. this watch i bought at Fashion Rack NAIA 3 will be the last purchase for me this month. wait. no, SHOULD should be the proper auxiliary verb if i want this shopping ban to be a success. i will, i should and i must stay away from all clearance, sale and new arrival racks until i get off that plane come July.
